Buffets: Choosing Heat Resistant Tops

by guestpost on May 7, 2010

Buffets typically are used to serve food during special occasions, exposing them to heavy pots and pans and hot foods. To make sure that there is no damage to your buffets, make sure that the top is not only heat resistant but able to withstand the heavy pots, trays and platters as well. In addition to damage that can be caused by heat and weight, damages can be caused by glasses leaving water rings or by candle wax if candles are left on the surface of the buffets.
