Hall Chests: Placing Them Correctly

by guestpost on January 25, 2010

For anyone who has banged their feet, elbow or knees on their hall chests, the following tips might be a little too late. For those who are just getting ready to place their hall chests, they might be just in time. Before even buying a chest, measure the area that you are going to put it in so that you know the right size to buy. Allow clearance on all sides of the chest so there is room to maneuver past it without harm or injury. Consider using a small lamp for safety as well as to give a little welcoming warmth to an otherwise dark and dreary hallway.
