A common problem for people with big families is that their dining rooms are often small. Forcing big dining tables into small room is a big mistake – it just leaves the room looking cramped and overcrowded. It always better to choose smaller dining tables with a light design and smaller chairs. The lack of space on small dining tables can be compensated by having a small console, credenza to display cabinet on which serving dishes may be placed so everyone can help themselves and sit down. A small dining table which allows for some other furniture to be placed in the room will keep the dining area from seeming cramped.
